Women Veterans Programs

Women Veterans Programs provide comprehensive gender-specific healthcare and support services through Women Veterans Program Managers at every VA medical center. Services include primary care reproductive health maternity care infertility treatment gynecological services breast and cervical cancer screening mental health counseling military sexual trauma treatment and gender-specific PTSD care. The Women Veterans Call Center provides information enrollment assistance appointment coordination and resource referrals. Programs address unique needs of women veterans including childcare assistance homeless prevention intimate partner violence support and transition assistance. All services designed to provide safe respectful trauma-informed care in welcoming environments. Over 500000 women veterans served annually through specialized programs and dedicated staff.
