VA Vocational Rehabilitation Employment

Veteran Readiness and Employment formerly Vocational Rehabilitation helps veterans with service-connected disabilities prepare for find and maintain suitable employment. Services include vocational counseling and career planning educational and vocational training job placement assistance resume development on-the-job training support entrepreneurship training and adaptive equipment. The program provides personalized support including subsistence allowance during training employment accommodations and long-term follow-up services. VR&E counselors work one-on-one with veterans to develop individualized rehabilitation plans. Services also available for self-employment small business development and independent living support for those unable to work. Available to veterans with service-connected disabilities that create employment barriers.
