VA National Veterans Sports Programs

VA National Veterans Sports Programs and Special Events provides opportunities for disabled veterans to improve independence well-being and quality of life through adaptive sports and therapeutic arts programs. Services include National Veterans Wheelchair Games National Veterans Golden Age Games National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic Summer Sports Clinic and TEE Tournament golf program. Monthly assistance allowance available for veterans training in Paralympic sports. Grants provided to community organizations expanding adaptive sports opportunities. Programs serve veterans with physical disabilities including amputations spinal cord injuries visual impairments TBI and other service-connected disabilities. Events combine rehabilitation with competitive sports promoting physical mental and social wellness. All programs provided at no cost to eligible veterans.
